We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Visualization: Develop and design interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI. Translate business requirements into technical specifications to provide actionable insights. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key insights. Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models and datasets. Optimize data models for performance and scalability. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data sources. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide BI solutions that meet their requirements. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other IT professionals to integrate and enhance BI solutions. Performance Tuning: Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance. Implement best practices for Power BI development and deployment. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionality. Assist users in troubleshooting Power BI-related issues. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all BI solutions and processes. Ensure documentation is up-to-date with any changes in the BI environment. Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Power BI. Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and BI solution development. Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience with SQL and other database management systems. Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies. Prior experience in a similar industry or domain. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Nice to Haves: Advanced degrees are a plus. Microsoft Power BI certification (Preferred but not required). Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, QlikView, etc. Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
