About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.Our Tauranga office has recently secured multiple large, long-term infrastructure projects and they are looking for a junior engineer or geologist with some experience working as a geotechnical professional. You'll be carrying out site investigations, site inspections and construction phase support as well as assisting the technical team with reports, analysis, design and project management.Our team is well-established in the Bay of Plenty region with a secondary office in Rotorua servicing the Rotorua and Taupo lakes district. What You'll Need A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree Experience carrying out geotechnical site investigations. Ability to travel when required A full New Zealand drivers license A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geology Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on Birthday Provision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers New Zealand Access to our 2-year CMW graduate training program Office social events throughout the year Ability to earn overtime and/or time in Lieu
