The focus of the position is: Product design Design methodology and technology Key Responsibilities: Conduct requirements analysis and modelling Develop design specifications and implement solutions Define test specifications and oversee execution Ensure design tolerances align with manufacturing capabilities Conduct rigorous analysis and debugging of design solutions Investigation and evaluation of design processes, tools, equipment and third-party components. Ō pūkenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant Bachelor, Postgraduate or other appropriate tertiary level NZQA approved qualification or relevant experience in the discipline. As well as: A keen interest in technology and solving problems Experience developing software in a collaborative team environment A passion for working in a team and working with the group to collectively improve our practices and behaviours Good Communication skills demonstrated by written contributions and verbal presentations.
