We Go Beyond for A Safer World Junior Test Analyst The Role - Te Tūranga The Junior Test Analyst role is an entry-level position focused on assisting the Operations Team in testing solutions for our top Critical Communications clients. The primary focus of this role is as follows: Quickly acquiring proficiency in Tait Systems & Solutions and developing practitioner knowledge of industry-standard or in-house communication protocols. Applying critical and technical skills to enhance the quality of our systems and solutions. Generating test artifacts, conducting end-to-end testing, and actively advocating for customer experience and quality. Key Responsibilities Analysing and modelling requirements. Reviewing and/or inspecting development documentation (e.g., User stories to create Acceptance criteria). Crafting Test charters and end-to-end test scenarios. Specifying integration test plans, including Tait Partner products. Efficiently reporting risks and bugs, escalating issues, and advocating for resolutions. Analysing test results. Contributing hands-on to Test Automation design and maintaining CI-based tests About You Ō pūkenga To thrive in this role, you should possess a Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent) and the following: Demonstrated proficiency in an Object-Oriented Programming language (Preferably Python). Previous experience as a junior Test Engineer, Junior Test Analyst or Junior Technician is preferrable Consideration will be given to recent graduates with relevant internship experience.
