We at IT Hub Inc are seeking a highly experienced AWS Systems Administrator to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a multi-account AWS enterprise environment, collaborating with customers and development teams, and implementing new infrastructure solutions to meet evolving business needs. This role will involve managing complex AWS environments, automating deployment processes, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving cloud infrastructure to support validation, production, and development.You will work alongside Salesforce and AWS teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions while ensuring high availability and scalability in a 24x7 production environment. Key Responsibilities : AWS Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level AWS environments across multiple accounts, including key services like IAM, EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, and more. Automation and Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts (using Shell, Python, etc.) for provisioning, decommissioning, and deploying services. Leverage AWS services (e.g., CloudFormation, Systems Manager) to ensure reproducibility and consistency. Customer and Team Collaboration : Work effectively with customers, AWS support, and internal development teams to troubleshoot and implement new infrastructure solutions. Problem Escalation : Interface with AWS support teams to resolve complex technical issues, understanding and navigating AWS product limitations. Scalability and Monitoring : Identify scaling bottlenecks and implement monitoring solutions to detect and remediate issues before they impact production. Infrastructure Security : Implement and maintain security controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as AWS FedRamp. Continuous Improvement : Improve existing infrastructure deployment scripts and templates, ensuring efficient and repeatable deployments. On-Call Support : Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical production environments. Release Management : Participate in software release activities, ensuring smooth and error-free deployments. Required Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator managing enterprise-level AWS cloud environments. 6+ years of experience supporting production environments in a 24x7 operations role. Expertise in managing AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, ELB, EBS, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager. Proficiency in AWS CLI and infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform. Scripting experience with Shell, Python, and working knowledge of Linux distributions such as RHEL and Amazon Linux. Technical Skills : Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, Firewalls, NACLs). Hands-on experience with implementing security controls and ensuring compliance (FedRamp, HIPAA). Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab). Experience with proactive monitoring solutions such as New Relic or Splunk . Security Clearance : Must be willing to obtain a Federal Agency Public Trust clearance after onboarding. Preferred Qualifications : AWS DevOps certifications (SysOps Administrator preferred). Experience working with AWS FedRamp services in highly regulated environments. Hands-on experience with Salesforce development . Background in healthcare IT or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) . Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible).
