Chesters have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to join our Chesters Whanganui team. In this role with plenty of variety, you will manage our Inwards Goods department as well as our deliveries to our awesome customer base. Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom Centre remains a privately owned New Zealand company with over 50 years' experience in the New Zealand market. We have 23 branches and counting nationwide. Our growth has been the result of excellent plumbing supplies backed by our service and commitment to our large customer base of plumbers, gasfitters, builders, homemakers, and renovators. Day- to -day, you will assist to unload goods and process paperwork from our suppliers, and then place goods into stock ready for future deliveries. You will assist with picking customer orders from the warehouse shelves, loading the delivery truck, and delivering product to our customers. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. While you may have a logistics or warehousing background or be familiar with freight/courier systems and processes, full training can be given for the right person. A forklift license would be advantageous as a part of your role will be driving a forklift. The ability to drive a manual vehicle is a must. A positive attitude and willingness to learn will go a long way with the Chesters team. There are excellent opportunities for advancement with the team at Chesters.
