We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.Our Tauranga office is looking to hire an Associate Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 8+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically, our team is looking for an engineer/geologist who can provide analysis, design, and technical advice for our clients in the residential, industrial, and energy space. Our team of 25 includes two Principal Geotechnical Engineers, and you'll have the ability to work with them closely on a regular basis.Our team is well-established in the Bay of Plenty region with a secondary office in Rotorua servicing the Rotorua and Taupo lakes district. What You'll Need A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree 8+ years experience in a geotechnical consultancy At least 2 years experience in New Zealand and specifically Tauranga is preferred A full New Zealand drivers license Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on Birthday Provision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers New Zealand Office social events throughout the year Yearly Christmas and mid-winter Christmas events Flexible office hours Ongoing internal project management and technical trainings
